Series description: Have you taken the time to notice that the furthest we have to travel to “see the world” is the local grocery store or public park? People from multiple nations and cultures walk the aisles and play on the playgrounds, and at times, it can be a challenge to know how to interact or communicate. As followers of Jesus, instead of seeing this as a problem, what if as mission minded people, we embraced it as a kingdom opportunity? Instead of grasping for power and control through world entities and people, it seems like an opportune time for the church to flourish by the empowerment of Holy Spirit and the embodiment of God’s love (Eph. 3:14-21). In this seven week series, we will explore the ideas of an unchanging gospel in an ever-changing world, reconciliation, interfacing with people from different cultures and backgrounds, and growing in our dependence on the Holy Spirit as we participate in God’s mission for the world.
