Our ministry prayerfully provides members of the Altamesa Church of Christ, their families and circle of influence, grief support through handmade prayer shawls and lap quilts. This ministry is patterned after the ministry as described at www.shawlministry.com.

You are invited to participate in the Prayer Shawl Ministry in the following ways:

• Continue prayer for those experiencing grief.
• Attend a monthly prayer shawl meeting for prayer over completed handmade items.
• Donations to the ministry: handmade shawls, lap quilts, etc. to dedicate and give to those in crisis; yarn (3 skeins of coordinating colors if possible)

If you would like join us in making shawls of comfort for others but don’t know how to knit or crochet, we are happy to teach you!
