Pencil it, but don't chisel it.
We are talking about the day we all will worship together in our newly remodel church building. Stay tuned for details. Once again this could change, but our excitement and anticipation will not.
Communication for May 2nd
We are excited to say that we received the Certificate of Occupancy last week. We thank God for everything he has done, is doing, and will continue to do in us as we trust in his goodness. Please pray for the moving process and final renovation projects. Getting the C.O. gives us the green light to prepare the building for our first Sunday. In the coming weeks we’ll be sorting through piles of furniture and other resources in the process of setting up nurseries, classrooms, and offices. On top of this, we will begin tackling a few other projects to complete the renovation. Please also begin praying for our first Sunday. Whether that day be June 6th or another day, it will be the first Sunday in a new chapter in the Altamesa church family. It will be an exciting day full of celebration over what God has done as well as anticipation and prayer for what God will do in the coming weeks, months, and years.
As we see one journey ending, we also see another one emerging. Let us be a faithful people to call of
Communication for Sunday, April 18th
Last week Danny announced that June 6th is the day we currently have penciled in on our calendars for our first Sunday in the renovated building. Nothing has occurred to change that date, but I want to call your attention to important points of prayer for June 6th to be a reality.
Please pray for:
· Buddy, the DeMoss team, and a timely completion of their work in these last two weeks. There are a thousand little details, along with a few big ones, that stand between today and their completed work. Pray for a smooth ending to this gigantic project.
· The Certificate of Occupancy. This is the critical piece of paper that sets the moving process in motion. We anticipate the C.O. in the next two weeks. Any delay in receiving the C.O. could lead to a delay in our first Sunday back. Pray for a green light from the inspector.
These are big things happening in these next two weeks. Let’s continue to be a prayerful people about this process.
